Information about the monument: As a result of a number of renovations over the years, the building has lost many of its original features, however restoration work is continuing on in this section. The medical school is the building that was damaged most among the structures of the Complex. It has almost completely disappeared except for one wall facing the mosque. With the original part that forms this façade and the reinforced concrete structure built over the ruined sections, it is now being used as the Süleymaniye Maternity Hospital. It is open to public use.
