Information about the monument: The Hadith College (Darülhadis) is within the Süleymaniye Complex, which is an incomparable architectural work that defines the silhouette and identity of Istanbul. It has one of the most interesting of the madrasa plans: the madrasa rooms are placed next to one another lengthwise, like a train. The Hadith College, a School for Koranic Studies, which was allocated to the Aziziye Foundation, is now closed to public. As a result of a number of renovations over the years, the building has lost many of its original features; further more restoration work is continuing in this section.
