Information about the monument: The Darülkurra was built directly on the Süleymaniye Mosque axis, by the far edge of the burial area. This space may have served as a Koranic reading room or as a room for the caretaker of the tombs area (türbedar). It has a pure and simple architecture, but it has lost many of its original features. It is now used by the Aziziye Cultural and Educational Social Unity Foundation and closed to visitors.
