Information about the monument: Among the support units within the vast Süleymaniye Complex, the Medical School is the building that has been damaged most. It has almost completely disappeared except for one original wall facing the Süleymaniye Mosque. With the old wall that forms this façade and the newer reinforced concrete structure built over the ruined sections, it is now being used by the public, as the Süleymaniye Maternity Hospital.
