  • Information about the monument: The Croation born Siyavuş Pasha was a highly revered statesman who served three terms as Grand Vizier. The tomb is also called Siyavuş Pasha Sons’ Tomb since he also had it built primarily for his children. A band of tiles with the Ayet-el Kürsi inscription from the Koran frames the interior walls. In addition to the grave of Siyavuş Pasha, there are ten other graves in the tomb. Restoration work on the tomb started in the 1940s and continued for a long time, thus enabling the structure to remain in good care and condition. It is open to visitors every day except Mondays.
