Information about the monument: Unfortunately, this modest masjid, built by Sinan, has not been preserved well enough over the centuries. It has lost almost all of its original details. This is the only masjid in Istanbul which is both designed and sponsored by Sinan. It is mentioned in written sources bearing Sinan's modest signature. It is now at the corner of a children's park area..
