  • Information about the monument: It is the first one of the complexes that Sinan built after his assignment as the Master Architect of the Court. Within this complex, we find the madrasa, decorated with tiles, the school with its monumental portico, and the hospital with a courtyard that has an octagonal plan. The school, the madrasa, and the hospital are closed to visitors at this time. The mosque was completed in 1538-1539 as a single dome mosque. Later, in 1612-1613, it was expanded by adding another dome. Its tile inscription panel has been placed in the Çinili Köşk Museum. The painted tracery work on the walls was restored in 1970.
