Information about the monument: Born in Bosnia, Mesih Mehmet Pasha had served at every level of the Palace administration to ascend to the level of Grand Vizier. In an interesting way, the side galleries in the mosque interior have been separated from the main space by a wall. The variety in the grill figures on the exterior wall is also quite striking. In an unusual way, the open tomb of Mesih Mehmet Pasha, who died in 1589, was placed in the center of the mosque court in place of a fountain.
