Information about the monument: The madrasa was planned as a two story structure due to its sloping site. On the lower floor facing the street, we find shops, which are not in use today. The spaces defined by the portico have been enclosed with aluminum framing and glass, during the last decade, to serve as Koranic reading classroom spaces. Since the shops below the madrasa level are no longer in use, they are in a state of disrepair.
