  • Information about the monument: Of the buildings in this Complex built in the name of Iskender Pasha, only the tomb has survived to present along with the mosque. They have gone through a restoration in 2000 and they are now in good condition and are well maintained. The tomb’s placement is unusual; it was built to the west of the mosque, by the seaside. Here, the architect has broken away from the tradition of placing the donor’s mausoleum by the qibla wall.
