  • How to reach the place: Following the Gazi Mahallesi-Küçükköy route, you will reach the neighborhood of Cebeci. After passing by the bread factory (IBB Ekmek Fabrikası) and the stone quarries, make a right turn. The Centrum of Cebeci is about 1 km away.

  • Information about the monument: Take the first turn to right and follow the dirt road along the valley to reach the aqueduct. There is another dirt road, though not as well kept, to the east of the aqueduct. When you reach the Gazi Mahallesi, make a right turn at the Mevlana Mosque on 1446th Street onto1500th Street. The aqueduct can be reached in about 1 km. Also known as the Cebeciköy Aqueduct, it resides within the Alibeyköy regional water collection basin. Located far, in such a natural environment, in addition to its architectural quality, it has ensured preservation as well as its original design and construction characteristics; today, the Aqueduct still displays its 16th century monumentality. Parts of the lower section has recently been restored using cement-mix mortar.
