  • Information about the monument: The plan of this masjid has been preserved in its original scheme until today. Its portico was converted into an enclosed space in late 1980s. Few architectural elements reminiscent of the Ottoman Classical Period are left for us to see. Its most striking feature is the minaret, which was built as a separatestructure from the main building. This unique "minbar-minaret" has an exterior staircase. The call to prayer is still done personally by the müezzin on this "minber-minaret".
